OuiShare Fest Barcelona 2016: Civic Tech Track – (Re)Form Governance

Civic Lab Barcelona will be curating the Civic Tech track at the upcoming OuiShare Fest in Barcelona, 26 and 27 October 2016.

OSFest’s mission is to guide and support organizations and individuals in their joint explorations of shared economy’s opportunities and challenges

On this track, we aim to identify and work on the challenges faced by CT initiatives: technology (?), ethics, financialización and shared ownership, etc.

Some of the most relevant actors of the European scene will be present, and we’ll attempt to look for a consensus in how to move forward building coordination for the movement.

Civic Track themes:

  • Inclusion and participation
  • Overcoming the sociotechnological challenges: limited, open source, blockchain and others
  • Can ethics and sustained financing be reconciled?
  • Does leadership necessarily lead to a disproportionate accumulation of power?
